I know what you're trying to say, krampus wing's base used to float a little bit out of the back of your character and the base used to move along with the flapping of the wings (E.g hugthulu ravishing wings if u wanna know what im saying,)

But i prefer the new update. Making the base float & flap along looks so ugly & unnatural.

Right now it looks like a proper wings. Like how should all wings function
