Ranged warrior weapon needed

I posted this in the feedback section, but lets try it here. I think spears and javelins should be introduced as warrior weapons. It could be used up close as melee, but thrown if button is held. The other classes have ranged attacks, but warriors are forced to get right into the fray. Some have said that's their job, but more enemies and bosses are coming out with area attacks that the warrior is to slow to get away from. I finally beat grimnr last night for the first time. I think I pressed the potion button more than my attack button. I know my place and go barreling into every fight head first, ax flailing. I would just like the option to throw something now and again, other than the throwing ax special. Maybe a large crossbow, that would be sweet too.
