Bogue quick start guide

All the rogue guides I have came across have been out

of date.Therefore, I am writing this as a quickstart

guide for bogues(bow using rogues).Disclaimer I am not

a expert this is just some tips nobody told me when I

first started.

preview of build:

This is a ranged build so strength is not needed; you
have razor shield for a oh crap button.

The rotation is:

(c)=charged
(c)aimed shot-(c)noxic bolt-(c)aimed shot(c)shadow storm shot-(c)aimed shot-(c) noxic bolt
Save Razor shield for when you get aggro(aggravated= monster attacking you)
aimed shot is your strongest ability you want to use it as much as possible!

Put some points into intelligence so you can
putting out that damage; don't even think about buying

gold for mana pots you literally have to pot after

every couple rotations if you don't have intelligence.

This is implicit , but play keep away with the enemy.

You have to face them to use shadow storm shot.

Don't use shadow pierce, because you will get owned by the

monsters when your in melee range. After all dead dps is no dps.


Skills:
knowledge=5
agility=5
aimedshot=5
razorshield=5
shadow storm shot=3
noxic shot=5

Gear=Dexterity and Intelligence

Pet= Flapjack he gives dmg boost+ hp and mana regeneration.

First leveling up:

If you use key board use arrow keys and put left hand on 1-2-3-4.

Dismiss your pet do not feed it.The gold is better

spent buying mana potions.(until you can get flapjack)

Spend your first 7 platinum on 500hp potions
Spend the next 50 platinum on buying flapjack pet.(you can farm for the egg in Rook's Nest) He is worth feeding.

Rerun and do daily quest until you can buy a bow.

(maybe 5000gold atm)(you can get to auction house

after "Gold Mine".

Gear:
Choose Dexterity and Intellegence
Stats:
I prefer to put my first 3 levels into Intelligence

then go for Dexterity.When you feel mana starved add

points into intelligence again keep in mind high level

gear has more int so keep it at a 80dex-20int ratio
Skills:
first max Aimedshot.
second get noxic bolt-> strengthened shot->
shadow storm shot->spreading shadow>shadow touch
->lingering poison->razor shield->whirling razors->
increased duration->now max noxxic bolt then max shadow storm bolt and move on to maxing knowledge then agility passives.

Meaamor advised: Don't use platinum on respawns it is a waste.
