one needs a mythic sword atleast to justify kill post.
I run elites solo, all the time, I don't own any Mythics and I'm always broke.
Effective tactics and the occasional streak of good luck yields decent income.
Moreover, elite maps are just more fun than running Brackenridge in 15 seconds over and over and over.
You shouldn't just broad-brush people who run elites as rich, mythic players, because the vast majority who I have seen on elite maps are precisely not rich and not mythic. They are either gunning for the achievement, looking to build friendships, or want something more challenging than running Windmoore Harbor over and over for the chance of a Bael sighting.
