I wouldn't bother with the amulet Hakoom. There will be a level 46 mythic amulet which will be released with the new elites sometime soon. It was already announced. It it were cheap I would say go for it. But at 5m, I'd say wait.
Considering that the recent teaser we got was Ursoth vanities, elite may be a ways off. Usually before something as big as an event, we will see more teasers such as boss or gear teasers. We have seen none for elite but the first step for Ursoth. With this, we may get Ursoth even before we get elites. Thats 3 to 4 weeks for this event and maybe even a cooldown. And then elites may be released. So thats quite a while without pendant.

We all cant capitalize on gold making or gold saving situations but at least bar is farmable.
