I gree in your first point. I think it's better the lesser "overpowered" items are in the game the better. Now even mythic is almost as common as legendary gear.
Actually it should be like in the season the mythic helmet came out. Only the very best players were able to get it.

I actually like a level playing field. I want everything to be farmable. I don't like locks, which are the root cause of the surplus of high end gear/eggs, but they aren't going anywhere.
