Well winter ring is good cuz of the +48 armor it gives u, which is quite good (actually the max armor any ring gives you at that bracket), for then you dont have to waste jewel slots on diamond jewels, and to be able to tank proper u need at least moderate armor. However, if ur looking for damage vigo pot (which i assume u have) or runic ring is your ring, I prefer the winter ring because armor does help increase survivability. But with the new weapon enhancement systems n pet slotting you can go for any of the rings i mentioned above.
