Engi: Uraz' Death Cowl disappears

Well I've just noticed this for myself, but I see that it's not happening to anyone else. I usually have a ninja bandana equipped, but when i took it off, I noticed that the Uraz' Death Cowl that I was wearing didn't show up on my face. I have it equipped, my stats go up, but the actual image of the helmet isn't there. It's just my naked face. I took some quick screenshots. the first is the helmet I'm wearing, and the second is showing that I'm not wearing any vanity on my head. Either I'm really stupid and the answer is obvious, or it's a graphical glitch.
