My Talk With Loco Cinco:
So today at 1:00pm mountain time I talked to Loco Cinco. He is the lead visionary officer in STS studios. We talked about one thing mainly, which is Pets.

So here is how the convo went:

Cinco: How many toons do you have?

Me: 5.

Cinco: what are there lvls?

Me: I have one at lvl21 and two at lvl20.

Cinco: how many pets you have?

Me: my main, the rogue, has all of them but Colton.

Cinco: what pets do you find yourself using the most?

Me: for my rogue I use hazel, ribbit, mallison, flap jack, and granite.

Cinco: nice, do you find that there are certain pets that there abilities don't seem to work for them?

Me: Well for example, ribbit, ribbit gives an awesome boost to str (hp) but then it's ability is crit. This ability seems to be irellevent for a warrior when he is soloing. Because a warrior really doesn't have that good of dps. I can see how the pet helps my friends but I would prefer a ability to help with the main stats of the pet.

Cinco: ok that makes since. So changing the subject a bit. Would you like vanity for your pets?

Me: nah, not rly it would get a bit complicated and convoluted. But I would like to see maybe actually items with with stats for pets such as Ear rings, collars, leashes.

Cinco: That's a rly good idea! I would love a doggy of mine to wear an ear ring. So do you use pets naming feature very much?

Me: I have named all my pets but actually regret it..... Because when people refer to pets that I renamed a long time ago I natural want to go reference. But they don't have there original name on them.

Cinco: Wow that makes so much sense! Now that u mention it, that is the primary reason I don't name my own pets. I think we will look into changing that in future updates. Like add a parentheses after the pets name you gave them with there original name.

Me: OH, there is one thing that disappointed me with pets on a graphic standpoint. Sense they start in an egg I kinda expected them to mature, grow larger, and more old looking as they lvl with u.....

Cinco: yah that has been talked about. I think everyone here has had visions of pets maturing as you lvl them. So I actually got everything I need. So are there any questions you have for me?

Me: well in that last video I saw you mentioned that pets would have much more meaningful part in the storyline of AL in the future..... Can you give some hints as to how the story line would link to pets?

Cinco: (repeats almost same thing he says in the video except....) There is an arcane energy in the world, and the pets come more into the storyline because they are more in tune to the energy than our characters are.

Me: Ok

Cinco: well u have actually brought something to mind I would like to ask. What pets would you like to see in the future? I mean we have pets coming along for all the new zones but are there any specific pets you would like to see?

Me: I would love to see a panda for normal pets! It would also be cool to see a pink bunny for Easter. Cute when inactive and then when in battle it all of a sudden goes into a rage all bloody like.

Cinco: that would be awesome for the Easter holiday! What sort of stats would you like to see on a panda?

Me: well honestly I keep thinking of King Fu Panda, haha, but I would picture the panda have hp increasing stats and a stunning attack. (In my mind I picture a tummy smashing panda )

Cinco: alright that makes sense. Well this was good I think we will try this again in the future.
