I think there should he an "overall kills leaderboard" and a "season 3 kills leaderboard". That way we can see who has the most kills since the beginning, but others have a chance to get the banners. Because with a 1million head start on most, it's going to be a long while before anyone takes the top spot.
Same with pvp stats
