Well, the mythic and arcane is the only reason I say they will keep some value.

Maybe in the future we can sell these chests as "Rare discontinued items"

not everyone hoarded them to sell, i was planning on opening when im lvl30 for example
tho it is soon to be a discontinued item... i might change my plans altogether

Yes, existing chests will still have the same chance to drop what they did before. So, Elite Golden Pirate Chests will still have a chance to drop Mythic Helms and the Arcane Hooks.

As asked earlier, do mythic helms also still come from locked crates and those new Nordr chests when opened as a lv30-31?

I doubt mythic helms will still come from crates because hooks and helm will not scale.

Hooks and mythic helms still lv 26...but the gear in new pirate chests will max out at lv 30 otherwise

Ouch. Well, big loss for me. But that's ok. I hope that at least you guys will be consistent with this going forward.

Actually, it seems they will continue to be inconsistent and will throw us surprises with this stuff. Otherwise it would be too easy for merchants to make a fortune on this stuff. So instead you are forced to guess and take chances if you want to try to profit from the new season.
