I find it amazing and sad how high some things are priced as they're way out of the reach of most players, today I managed to get to my first million gold through farming & merching but I can't ever imagine affording enough to get any arcane or mythic items.

Price is what people are willing to pay. It's supply and demand, and when there is only one for sale, demand will be much higher than supply, so price will be very high.

once you break the 5mil barrier thru merching/farming its alot easier to gain more gold fast, atleast from my experience
not impossible to get mythics/arcane just alot harder if you dont open crates.
