Dark Legends Quickstart Guide

Get Started:

Get Started Fast! Log in with your Facebook Account, Google + account or create a Spacetime Studios Account!





Register New Account:

If you have previously played Pocket Legends or Star Legends, use your same login.

If not, click to create a new account and fill in the required fields and press Register.





Choose Your Gender:

Pick Male or Female. Once you’ve completed the tutorial you’ll be able to customize your character, selecting from a variety of faces and hair styles as well as choosing your name. (When choosing your name keep in mind, names must be unique, contain between 3 – 13 characters, and no numbers, spaces or symbols. Accounts that contain character names which are obscene or offensive may be banned)





In-Game Tutorial:

New players are introduced to Dark Legends via an in game tutorial. Follow the on screen instructions!





General Controls:



General Controls for Dark Legends:

• Resize the world by pinching / spreading your fingers.
• Move your character around with the VIRTUAL JOYSTICK or tap-to-move.
• Interact with the world by tapping on your MAIN ATTACK button.
• Chat with others in the zone by tapping the CHAT window.
• Pop a blood pack by tapping the RED HEALTH globe.
• Feed on enemies to restore your health by clicking on the RED SKULL once it’s fangs are revealed.
• Access other menus by clicking on the MENU button.
• Buy action points by clicking on the ACTION POINTS bar.
• Buy experience points by clicking on the EXPERIENCE POINTS bar.
• Buy gold by clicking on the GOLD bar.
• Buy platinum by clicking on the PLATINUM bar.
• Trigger special animations by tapping the EMOTE button when in the Club Sanctuary.



Actions:

Actions are timed interactions in the world. Once they’ve completed you can collect your reward. (If you don’t want to wait, you can complete the action instantly with platinum)





Mission:

Missions are 3D environments where you cut a bloody path through those foolish enough to oppose you.





Lair:

The Lair is your resting place. Here you can modify your vampiric powers, view your achievement unlocks, and gain access to other important information.





Level Up:

Level up your character by earning experience points, (XP) from completing missions or actions. As you level your character becomes more powerful, gaining access to deadly new powers.

Tell us please what does our stats mean and how do they correspond

I.e. why we need attack, not just dmg? Is it cumulative with dmg or used otherwise?

Yeah knowing what effects what would really help.
For instance i have 218 attack but i fail to kill someone with 700 hp, yet they kill me with 1 spell and few punches. That doesnt make much sense to me.


To admins, mods or simply people with exact knowledge:

So what does what?

Attack - didnt see that i do WAAAY more damage then those with 100 attack, attack speed maybe - nope. Please explain.
Defense - I know that i take damage fast, but maybe there's some more to it. How it is connected/negating to Damage and DPS? Please explain.
Health - that's the only self explanatory thing for me. Dunno if it has anything to do with your own HP regen.
Damage - i guess it the damage you do per hit, but how it connected to Attack? DPS? - Please explain.
DPS - what is this? damage per second, damage per spell, dots per square inch? - Please explain.

Cuz im lvl 20 and i dont see ANY benefit to have high attack or damage... people with 1100 hp 80 attack and 110 dps seem to do more damage then me...

Is it possible to go beyond level 36? And if not why only allow power ups at higher than level 36 on certain powers? Just wondering if I need to do something specific to start earning experience points again now I've reached level 36. As I've stopped earning experience points. Maybe it is a glitch?

At some point STS will give us an update that raises the level cap....until then we are stuck at 36. Once the level cap is raised, we will be able to use the additional power ups on certain powers.

you need to turn it on in your settings first
menu - options - social options - emotes, third option down. it'll appear as a laughing vampire in the bottom left corner of your screen.

You can enter PvP room through vampire district vampire street, the leftmost corner is from where you can go there.

the red skull for feeding, how exactly does that work? is it based on using powers? how long do you have to use after it's been activated? I've had it where it's slowly gone back down, or a few times where it's completely turned grey again WITHOUT feeding.

It turns back to grey if you don't click on it and then you will have to wait for it to turn red
