Default Does Nox Bolt damage neglect armor? - and my D.D.D. philosophy

    Hi Fellow players,

I can't find/search this specific topic in the forum threads.
But I just want to confirm, does Nox Bolt's damage neglect armor? Since strictly speaking its a 'poison gas'. (I've read that it does while some say it doesn't)

    Thank in advance!

*Sorry for the extra DDD title. I was about to include a new topic here but opted not to.

^ For real? Oh man that's a new ball game for me and messes my build!

My current rogue is all about Dodge. Dash. Damage. So currently my SP + RS (+ SV - when mobs get thicker) works for me, being in the grind. Getting 10% heal once or twice per SP attack. Dashing around the battlefield like the Yondaime yello flash.

But for Nox bolt + AS means your attacks are all long range right? Since you're shooting from afar, SV and RS will be logically useless? Doing normal attacks only for melee. I just spam pots for urgent health and mana.

I think, sv+aimed+nox is a good combo for bow rogue. But use ribbit+aimed+nox combo with boss, and plus sv if i found good position. But i sometimes switch to blades when dealing with mobs and hv low dps party like 3 warriors. Nox is very effective of AOF and it has DOT, i use max upgrade nox.

Right, I can still take advantage of the extra damage bonus of SV + AS + Nox. Though I will have to adjust and fight from afar.
Since I won't be in the grind anymore, I might give up RS, and switch to combat medic? I'll think about it. Will try to rebuild asap.

    Thanks for the replies.

    Most importantly, Nox can stack.

If you attack with charged Nox (for the AoE), as soon as it cools down, use it again, then mobs receive 2 poison attacks per tick. In a team of 4 Rogues with Nox, you can effectively maintain 8 poison attacks per tick, coming in at +/- 100 damage per tick, per poison, or in this case 800 damage per tick!

Exactly, I calculated the Nox poison Dmg in some other thread and it's definitely worth it. You know you're doing it right when a tank has a hard time to keep agro from you.
