Hi!

I just started playing this game a week ago with my warr then switched to rogue because of the bows

my question is what are good bows to use for my level(currently lvl 8)
and also a good skill build for bow rouge

Good bows are not yet worth buying at your lvl. They are expensive ish, the good ones especially. But if you want to here the good bows anyways it is probably bonechill bow of Potency. Or devourer bow of Potency. Skill builds are aimed shots 5/5 and nox as well. That's just my opinion. I havent tested out several builds.

especially on lower lvls i would guess stay at daggers... i switched to be a hybrid bogue at 31

What's the advantage of a bow rogue? Do epic/legendary bows deliver higher damage compared to epic/legendary daggers?

AND will I still find RS useful when I start using bows? or will I expect shooting everything on a distance, thus making my RS a seldom used skill?

At lower levels use depraved blades. They provide lot of dps. Above level 12, go for bow (Devourer or Bonechill). Bow great for dealing max dmg.

the bogue advantage is to shoot from distance... ofc. but even when i play as bogue... ( everytime i switch @bosses on my bow) i sometimes use my rs bcse when their is a crowd and you arent in a big distance you can make some more dmg.... at least...it depends on the way how you handle the game... at least im fine with my build. hogh on dps when on dagger and mediate hp and dmg dealer as bogue

well I am now currently lvl 13 saw the bonechill and devourer bows which is very expensive
any tips for farming gold fast?

anyways thanks for the suggestions will use daggers until I buy a good bow.

For PvE I'm thinking of using charged Nox + AS + RS and daggers for mobs and I'll switch to bow + AS + tap Nox for bosses.
If I decide to permanently stick with a bow and find that I no longer see the need for RS (since I'm shooting from a far), I might replace it with CM. But I enjoy being in the front line - will definitely miss RS blender.

imo the best killspeed you can reach by staying@dagger until the reaching the boss then switch on bow. and believe me im in even when still noobie since season 2 and compared a lot of different builts on every free and some platbased respeccs and need to say the fastest way is the way im walking...

but at least feel free in your decision! you can be good at both and if you like to be the arrowthrower... throw them

use devourer bow of potency like the stat of bonechill bow of pot. devourer bow os cool

Advantage for bow rouges: More damage on a single target
Advantage doe dagger rouges: More DPS. Damages 3 targets at one tine

Hi Lance,

It looks as though you've gotten some good responses here. Allow me to chime in.

Bows at your level (the good ones anyway) are going to be very expensive since they're used by PVP twinks. That being said, for leveling purposes it may make more sense for you to use daggers, since they’re not really used by twinks all that much – thus you can find some decent legendary (pink) daggers much cheaper than the legendary bows.

If you’re dead set on using bows for your leveling efforts too, I would suggest then that you buy a Bonechill or a Devourer bow as soon as you can. Some tips on making money at lower levels:

Farm Ribbit (a great rogue pet btw) from Mother when you get the Klaas luck elixir or farm Crates from Jarl when you have the elixer.
Ribbit sells for about 10k and Crates for 13k upwards to 20k depending…
Once you have enough gold, go buy a bow.

Note: Doing this will be a great deal of effort for minimal reward since you will level up so fast from 8 – 16 and even beyond… I would hold off on buying a bow until you’re at least level 21. But that’s just me
