How do you use resurrect?
I'm obviously new to this game. I was playing in a group and someone died. I thought I would try out my new resurrect spell. I went and stood over the fallen person and cast the resurrect spell but it didn't work. I cast it a few times just to be sure. They eventually restarted from the beginning. Any help is appreciated.
It should work, you did it correctly. Stand near enough to the corpse and use the skill, you should see a green aura on all the players, including the corpse, and that would mean your skill was used on them.
It could be thst the other player didn't use your Res spell, if wasted at least 4 Res before realizing the player was afk
The other player has to accept the res? That may have been it. We moved on after several failed attempts before they restarted at the beginning of the level. Thanks.

Not to insult your intelligence but are you positive you were hitting the resurrect skill and not confusing it with the heal skill? It happens often so I just wanted to make sure.

That's what I first thought, but it was definitely resurrect (the leaf with the white sun circle behind it).
I shouldn't be the case though..
How can the dead accept being resurrected?

Undead minions come from the obvious.
Who wants to stay lying down, 6 feet underground for eternity?
Even they get tired of the dank, dark earth
But (not that I'm a demonologist) don't they usually raise them directly from the dead on the battleground.
Well, that's the best place to get them from I guess.
We don't see much of those nowadays considering we dont have real "battlegrounds" anymore
PL should come up with Side-Classes.
