8secs i think.btw has anyone tried it in pvp.
semi-retired
I missed his passive at lvl 5 and 10, but at lvl 15/16 its
Pumpkin Head Burst: Damages two targets and has a chance to reduce its chance-to-hit by 10%, Crit by 5%
his cooldown based on my laggy test is about 30 seconds.

At higher levels he hits 3, reduce hit 15% and crit 10%
Those of you who've purchased Ewen -- what do you think? Worth 90 plat? Why? For what class(es)?
Just guessing, but seems like a reasonable warrior pet, since you'd get 400 health, 100 mana, and healing as an arcane power. But would love to hear from folks that actually have Ewen.
He seems like a very good pet for all classes since its a primary stat boost and his arcane is beneficial to everyone in party.
I have him (Warrior) and once he gets a little stronger I can tell if his heal Buff is worth it.
His Cool Down is too long though, which leads me to believe the Buff is going to be substantial at higher lvls. My theory anyways

Sorry... Even she looks more scary than him... If i would dress up on halloween, i would pick her cloths first lol

Ewen is a support pet. Best for warriors as he tanks and supports mages and rogues. Ewens heal is not noteworthy to a war but definitely helps mages. his arcane ability is another example of support rather than benefiting all classes. If happiness had mana regen or health regen I'd say hes worth it but as of now only worth being carried by a warrior to support party. If you dont have Haze then buy that first lol.
Agree with above. Additionally, in terms of value to the buyer, Ewen's happiness stats are very similar to Malison's when broken down - they are just worded differently. Here is a comparison of the two pets with L36 characters in top gear (but no arcane weapons):
Malison
Warrior: +320 hp, +200 mana, +~10.9 dmg, +1% dodge, +5.5% crit, +~12.3 dps
Sorcerer: +360 hp, +200 mana, +~16.3 dmg, +1% dodge, +5.7% crit, +~19.7 dps
Rogue: +360 hp, +200 mana, +~14.1 dmg, +1.5% dodge, +5.8% crit, +~16.8 dps
Arcane Ability: +15% dodge to party for 5 seconds, 15 second cool down (10 second interval)
Ewen
Warrior: +400 hp, +100 mana, +~11.5 dmg, +~12.9 dps
Sorcerer: +225 hp, +250 mana, +~16.1 dmg, +19.4 dps
Rogue: +225 hp, +100 mana, +dmg/dps unknown because I won't buy Ewen for my rogue
Arcane Ability: +10% dodge and damage for 8 seconds, 30 second cool down (22 second interval)
With Malison, you're essentially getting the same stats as Ewen, but with more dodge/crit and a negligibly lesser amount of hp/damage. The +10% dodge and damage bonus from Ewen's Arcane Ability are nice in theory, but as Striderevil said this is really just a party support buff - I have not found it be useful while soloing (Haze is a much better purchase for this). In my opinion, for 90 plat you're paying for a pumpkin version of Malison (by the way, Malison is FREE if you loot it).

Yes, I have. However, I can better benefit from other pets in most situations. Specifically in arena, Ewen's arcane ability range is so terribly short, it hardly ever reaches party members. Adorable or not, the point of my post was to provide the readers with a comparative assessment of this pet's usefulness. If platinum isn't plentiful for the player, I recommend go with Malison. More of a well-rounded vanity pet in my opinion - which is the main reason I bought it.
