PT Zapppsssss Event arrives! ( 3v3 PVP Tournament)

When:
Saturday,9th November 2013
12.00pm-9.00pm (GMT)-refer to UK's time

Finals
Sunday,10th November 2013
12.00pm-9.00pm (GMT)

Why are we doing this?
1. Guildies learn to work with each other as a team and complement their strength/weakness
2. To harness their PVP skills as an official training session that comes with small token of appreciation
3. Discovering potential players whilst sharing knowledge among them
4. Keeping em behave and occupied
4. Honouring a healthy competition, promoting fun of a better PVP experience

Who can participate?
1. Any members of Purple Thunder at level 36 cap is allowed to participate.
2. Members who desired to take part in this first guild event MUST REGISTER their names to our fight promoter orangekahel before Thursday,7th November 2013,by 12am (GMT)

TEAMS
1. 3 different classes (1 warrior,1 rogue,1 mage)
2. Random draw will be done upon registration ends.any imbalance that derived from a player known abilities/gears advantage will be carefully distill and reviewed to achieve team balance
3. Maximum of ONLY 16 teams are allowed to compete for the tourney (48 players). List is based on first-come-first-register players.once the numbers of 16players from each class are registration,no further registration is accepted.
4. Final teams and match schedule will be officially announced on Friday, 8th November 2013 via these channels:
-Guild chats (reminders)
-Guild forum thread
-Guild Facebook page
5. Teams are responsible to regularly check the announcements, updates leading up to match day to avoid missing infos or old updates.reminders will be announced within the time frames after official announcement on friday leading up to match day.
6. Teams are given the freedom to practise,discussing strategies etc prior to match, and must be present for their scheduled match.for unavoidable event whereby the timing cant be met by either teams,the match will resume by moving to the next following match on schedule (other teams). However this can only be allowed once, by giving the pre scheduled team a short buffer time to be present before being disqualified.this is to be fair to other teams that make sacrifices to be on time.
For example;
1st round-team a vs team b

1 member from team is late,hence team c vs team d will proceed first.

*please regard this information as crucial to ensure smooth and efficient match progress
Final list of competing teams will carry a specific labels (i.e team a) for easy recall.

MATCH FORMAT
1. 3v3 duel upon the 3 secs countdown from the appointed judge.
2. 3 rounds of single elimination.a draw will result for a fourth/final round to decide who advances to the next match bracket.
3. Opponent teams for the next bracket is arranged in the subsequent order accordingly.
Match brackets;
1st rounder-16 teams
2nd rounder-8 teams
Semi Final-4 teams
Final-2 teams

MECHANICS/RULES
1. Arcane gears and pets are FORBIDDEN. Mhytics either gears or pets is allowed. Pinks are most welcomed.Teams can have variations of mhytics and legendary that gel with the team strategy.
2.Respec is allowed as long as does not consume much time prior to match.
3.No skill limitations.
4.No pet switching in between fights.
5.Unexpected events such as pings and accidental hits will immediately void on going match for a rematch.this is subject to the judges call,not teams.
6.No weapons switching during match regardless your amazing ability to pull ot off.
7.Taunting/teasing (that fail to turn humourous) is NOT allowed nor expected.treat your guildies with love,respect and healthy competitive spirit.the ref on duty will immediately remove their arcane gun from its holster,holding it upside down for a killshot on your toon and team members if you are caugh with your big mouth.
8.No change in team or members is allowed except for a very,very concerete and rationale reason once the team brackets are announced (a team must present his case to the judges before any change is made).this is to avoid favoritism and biasness.so learn to work with what you have as guildies.
