Dead lanterns quest in elite shuyal

Every time I try and pick up a lantern for the quest in elite shuyal it gives me the bar indicating it is picking up the lantern but when its done i get no credit for it in the quest log. Tried this o probably 10 times or so now. Same result every time. Is a bug or is it something with my system? Works fine in normal map. Running Ipad 1. I know its old.

Tried this on my server and the live server, worked for me. Does the lantern disappear after the bar is gone? Does it help to delete the quest and take it again?

Haven't tried deleting the quest and starting over and since the lantern doesn't disappear i'm assuming it is lag between the server and me. Next time I try it ill stay there longer and see what happens.
