Everyone please check your router and modem cord and wires to make sure they are straight and plugged in all the way. I had a loose cord and ever since I fixed it my connection is back

There's enough people here that know what they're doing when it comes to maximizing settings for the fastest connection possible that clearly there's some sort of server-side problem. I use PC, iPhone, and android, and I've tinkered with settings on everything to make sure I'm set up to run as quickly as possible, and I've still had a lot of lag issues since the beginning of winter content. I also think that it's not coincidence that most of the people posting in this thread had no problems at all until winter content released. I don't mean to sound rude in any way at all but I think that Dev posts saying "everything is running just fine for us" is a misguided way of judging the situation. Clearly there are issues. Just because you've yet to experience them doesn't mean they don't exist.

For those experiencing long ping times, what does the frame rate seem like when the ping time goes up. Is the frame rate nice and smooth and all (indicating a high/good fps), or is the frame rate jumpy/stuttery (indicating a low/bad fps). If the frame rate is jumpy/stuttery/low/bad when the ping time goes up, then it means that it's probably not the actual network ping time that is high, but it is incorrectly reported as high because the client is so busy rendering frames that it doesn't have time to read ping packets from the network to calculate accurate ping time - i.e. it's busy rendering the game, which is a higher priority than calculating ping time. The reported ping time is only (or more) accurate when the fps is high/good, that the client has spare cycles to devote to calculating accurate ping time.

I've never had any issue with frame rate drop, even while my ping starts jumping. Everything runs smooth, I just start noticing that user input stops working. So I pull up inv screen and see my ping climbing

My FPS goes bad sometimes while lagging - I thought it was laptop(graphics card) overheating problem. I had no idea FPS affects ping too. I got 1gb graphics - more than enough for AL.

Just saying tht its a good bet tht majority of al community arent technical savvy who understand network and having the access/push to take technological solution.so be it casual/hard-core gamers ping and lags are crucial factors that rob their experience.since we have seen tremendous reports on this ping behavior perhaps its time to relook into the problem and suggest possible solutions that can be comprehended by avrage players.cheers

Same for me - CRAZY high pings.
I have have over 50Mpbs Internet, Speedtest usually shows much higher. But my Ping in Arcade Legends was
so high I almost had to stop playing. About 32,000 and HIGHER, I would get a ping jump every minute.

Like i said, it could be multiple reason, for me, it's where I live. I would have to have the fastest internet for me to get a good ping.. Iv adapted to my slow connection and can sort of play with it, but not for to long as it will get to the point where its aggravating, unfair, and simply pointless to play with.. Where you guys live make sure your modem isnt in the basement lmao or whatever surrounded with loads of walls and hard to have the modem communicate so far away from outside
