This is a must-have implementation.

Nah I disagree. If all crates are 12.5k each then crate hoarders will lose money at expansion or events.

It'd be quite nice. Allow them to be liquidated at 17.5k for a weekend...and then make it so that locked crates are WAY rarer, but bump up the odds of good loot a little.Read my mind

Would be fun for us, the gamers. However, it wouldn't be fun for the pockets of sts. People are able to quickly dump $500 dollars into platinum, since crates are so readily available to be bought. It's a lot like how Mike Tyson talks about when he was an alcoholic--addicted and it's hard to break because the drug is right there all around you.
