How many locks before you scored?

I have a question, if say you have looted chests before Singe or the expansion and you opened them afterwards, would you be able to get Singe/expansion items, or the contents are fixed?

Locked will give what is currently available at the time you open.

So for your example looting a crate before Singe released and opening it today WOULD give you a chance to loot him.
