Chest splitter burns mana and that's not good for bosses because they will plunder you windmill is ok but is more mana than chest splitter and cool down is 10 sec so OVERALL I will pick SS
Good thread, but for non mythic / cheap people w/ low mana wouldn't 5/5 in tell passive be better than dmg?

Yes, and this was already addressed.
To be fair, anyone who is trying to run with cheap gear should be using a Dragonscale set of Security. It's the highest armor stat of the cheap dragonscale and has very high mana. From there, it's dependent on what weapon you use in whether or not passive damage is worth it. Furthermore, passive crit is an adaquit replacement for passive damage.
If you have a pet that have more than 5% damage passive, then its as pointless putting damage passive ... they dont stack
and majority of the pet like samael gives more than 10%.. they only take the highest damage passive to multiply with
for that reason ive taken out 5/5 damage passive.. most the pet i use other than valkin have atleast 10% damage in em.. and to consider.. lix damage boost is 25%..
i currently use wm/cs/hor/jug for elite , specifically for the new maps , with similar upgrades except for jugg
i put taunt in it, skill lasts for 15s and i believe taunts every 5s?(every blink of halo.. it taunts) roughly i forget now
4 skill taunt as of right now.. i used to be really against windmill just bec of its skill locking, but its hard to deny that its very effective for taunting

Don't waste my time, don't waste yours
After respec, I finally satisfied with this build:
Skills:
CS 4/5 - No relentless
WM 5/5
VB 5/5
Jug 5/5
HOR 5/5
Passive:
Dura 5/5
Might 5/5
Agility 5/5
Crit 1/5
I use 2 attack skill on normal and easy elite, 1 attack skill on harder elite.
[Newcomx, Newcomy, & Newcomz]
i m using 7skills with might and durablr passive.
i m so relaxed. can cover any type of maps
Bro have you changed your passive from damage to crit? As you use Samael its wasted as the 2 different percentages dont stack. Think im right.
My current spec is as follows:
Hybrid
wm 5/5
horn 5/5
jugg 5/5
vb 5/5
and either cs 2/5 or ss 3/5
5/5 str
5/5 armor
5/5 dex
rest in crit if left
PVP
ss 3/5
cs 2/5
axe 5/5
jugg 4/5
horn 4/5
vb 5/5
5/5 str dex armor rest in crit
Agree with crow that you need as many taunts as you can possibly get IMO to run the new elites with few to zero deaths. If you position yourself right you can take all aggro whilst your team sits behind you unharmed.
BTW Nice thread bro

800-1k is about what I use. And, more than enough.
Arguments you may want to enter:
-Does damage taunt? Is it worth getting damage upgrades in skills?
-If you were to have only one attack skill in PvE, what would it be? Assume your other three skills are HoR, VB, and jugg.
-what upgrades in Jugg are "needed" (eg is "second wind worth it") and which are "unnecessary" (eg is the taunt in jugg notable).
*Note: skim through the thread to find previous positions on these.
The thread is now updated to reflect my current spec and the preface has been edited to be more explanatory.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this thread both on this forum and by personal messaging me in game.
Special thanks go out to Jirikjurasek for correcting a few foot notes to reflect accurate information and Craeyon (in game contribution) for being the first to suggest replacing SS with axe. Although I did change your initial suggested spec, Craeyon, your input was vital in reaching the final spec.
Again, thank you to everyone who contributed to this thread. Even if I didn't mention your name for making one of the major adjustments, your input helped shape this thread and better inform the readers.

Nice build. I use similar but no range on heal. 5/5 jugg. Ss instead of axe. Passives str dex int. I dont use armor cus it was debated useless along with dmg in that thread. May i ask why u dont take taunt on jugg? I thought more aggro skills the better or do u simply dont need it? Also ive never tried axe maybe i will...
Get area in HoR. The point is to heal the party not yourself. HoR isn't designed to simply save potions.
The taunt in Jugg is the weakest of any skill, in my experience. Additionally, I usually run with VB instead of jugg unless the map is a more difficult one (corridor and up), even then I skill swap a lot (so etimes kills me if I don't charge HoR properly). Even when I am using jugg, I am using it to survive. HoR, WM, and CS is more than enough to maintain aggro unless you are held up by pot spamming and being stunned. The usual argument (yes I know, Jirikjurasek) is that jugg solves both of these. However, jugg has a short duration and long cool down. Therefore, I use it as more of a "mayday" button for when a pull gets out of hand. It is foolish, IMO, to use jugg as soon as it cool downs. Skill spamming is never suggested.
SS is a decent replacement for axe. On first attempts, I used SS instead of axe. However, the ahead power and versatility of axe in boss fights outweighs the regular maps and PvP advantage of SS for my purposes.
CS take a lot of practice. I have found that a good place to practice taunting specific mobs is the "companion contice" daily quest. You should also be aware that certain mobs will not be taunted unless CS is charged. These mobs should be the ones you make sure to "hug" with WM and HoR.
