No, the problem is they were smart and bought it cheap and were assuming that it would drop the new mythics, but it didn't. So, I guess you are right they are mad, but for the right reasons.

I sure will, for the right price. Locked crates are not going anywhere, trust me. They will go back up in value in the future at some point, they always do. I can remember a time when locked went lower than 1k, and I can remember a time when they were going for 35k.

I'd imagine that by the end of this event, with all the crate crafting going on, crates will start to be in short supply and the price will go up.

Seems like you have just been unlucky. Yesterday I spent about 2 hours in WT4 and found enough essences to craft 8 crates and 6 energy kits.

yeah I made about 12 crates and 7 energy kits yesterday...in about 2 and half hours farming them with a friend

How was he being disrespectful? I can't see it. I farmed Kraken for one hour, got enough elondrian for 8 crates plus around 20 energy essences. Nothing wrong with that. I could agree making essences tradable for gold, but why on earth would you want to buy your way into just about everything the game has to offer? If you handle it that way, it's not really a game anymore.

Ive made over 50m not wasting a singe little platinum so saying non-plat players can finally make money is absurd to me.

I worked hard to farm my crates and i thought it was enough but now i have to work hard and wait to spend my plat, no thanks, seriously, people who choose to fund this game by purchasing plat arent looking to spend more gold on a "new" type of crate and they didnt buy plat to grind hardcore like the non-plat players (for whatever reason either too much life or gambling fun), it seems very simple to me.

People want to run the Event 24/7 or close to it, not grind 24/7 for a chance to play the event for 10min instead of 5.

There are better ways of phasing out lockeds if that is the intention of STS. The way they decided to implement it left a lot to be desired.

Aight, let's not lose focus on this thread. The issue is we feel the elondrian essences are causing us too long of a grind to craft the event crates. STS has responded that they are afraid that mythics will flood and ruin the economy, but the ones looking to open in reality would have one or possibly two in our hands.

I want to point out that the weapons are NOT arcane, nor should they be rationed out to us as such. We are grateful to everyone who has supported the idea that we need better access to elondrian essences so we can craft up our locked within these three weeks! Mata you rock for offering some solutions to this issue
