Don't see how this is a bad habit.

That doesn't sound bad at all.. frankly, it's nice to know you like to help new players.

it's only a bad habit when people complain "Everyone online is 40+ besides this noob "my name here" that's a 25, what the heck"
Other than that good job ^^
Make your own guild

Lol this isnt a bad habit at all.... You will get payed back someday for you good deeds
remember this qoute "noobs today pros tomorrow" someday they will help u in other way
Should be some filtering. You can run a PUG and tell who has potential. I see a lot of good players on my mage and try to recruit or guide those I can. Many are loyal to their current guilds, and I don't push.
A stubborn person who won't take advuspce will never be pro. Of all the "ex-noobs" I now consider pro, all of them not only took advice but asked for it. I ask for insight and advice all the time. You can never know everything.

Create your own guild and help as much as you can
I have a simple rule, you can try to adapt it to your needs:
Don't put more effort in answering than people do in asking.
->
Don't run them through 3 campaigns in a day, make it a map a day or make a "helping day" once a week. Let them try on their own.
I know it's harder now, less people running maps, everyone just leveling to cap. But stay strong!
Disclaimer: my lameness is figurative but strong
