1.6 adds a battery optimization option. It drops frames but your device should run cooler and use less battery... try it out and let us know how it works for you!

It seems hard to bring the bar all the way to the end of Batter Saver on my iPad.

Bringing it to 0 is an easy drag, but I've never gotten it to max, idk if it was meant to be this way but yeah.

I LOVE DISABLE EFFECTS. I'm now able to play with no double pixel on my iPad!

it really helps befor i got only 1 hour and maybe 30 mins but now i just went 2 hours straight! with 25 percent! NICE POCKET LEGENDS!

Why am I having so much trouble finding this option?

And does it help with lag or just battery? Battery is not usually my problem, lag is.

Edit: Nevermind, I found page 2 in options.
But Omg it was horrible! I had no lag at all before (was in town), I pulled the bar all the way to the opposite side and got insta-lag! Shot up to the thousands and was like walking in quicksand. Am I missing something here?

Argh. Battery saver makes me motion sick. Not sure why. Something about the way my character moves on screen. It makes me dizzy. And ping does seem to be a bit higher with it on.
