For those of you who don't know Sirulian was hijacked last night.
He was experimenting with a necromancy curse he had recieved from Paracelsus in the guild hall when suddenly the spell took a nasty turn his body became possessed by a soul from the ethers of Arlor, a lost and forgotton Nott who once called himself, Arkanem.
However, do not fear. Sirulian is suspected to still be, "in there somewhere", or at least that what Paracelsus said when questioned about the nature of the spell and a possible cure.
Sadly, there is no known counter spell to the curse he was playing with, so until further notice please familiarize yourself with his new identity, I'm sure you'll get along just fine. huhuhu~

Yes thanks all who participated... i know the AL server DC problems sure haven't helped... let's hope that when new client and arena comes that these 120k ping DC's are a thing of the past because it seems they have no idea what the problem is and / or don't know what to do about it. We'll get something else going soon depending on what happens with the arena release.
Anyhow we are growing and attracting many great players so as always keep up the good work and remember we are selective in who we want to play with. Having a big guild isn't our goal... having a good one full of strong independent elite endgame players is! Also we don't mind pvp but we are primarily a pve guild. When it comes to pvp you can follow whatever rules you think work best!

So far no update on the Arena launch. Looks like we are still waiting to hear back from Apple on the client approval. Until then let's keep on running and recruiting! To the Recruiters
To all the recruiters,
Fade will promote you if you are active and we see you online in the guild. We aren't super picky or exclusive with recruiting, and if you have friends that want to join and you can vouch for them then yes go ahead and invite them. However, we do get a lot of people we don't know that spam and say 'invite me to the guild'. Let me reiterate some basic recruiting to everyone.
(1) Level 40+ only
(2) PvE oriented and must be aware of that before entering the guild. PvP is OK but it's on your own.
(2) Nubs are fine. Bad gear and low PvE kills too, all OK. HOWEVER. Please make sure the person is has positive attitude, plans to be active in the game, and is interesting to talk to. Spend a moment to speak to the person before inviting. If they are unresponsive then don't invite. Take them on an elite run, use Kraken or Wilds.
(3) They should have a basic understanding of the game. This means they are well enough into arcane legends to use a pet. If someone doesn't know how to summon or use a pet please don't invite.
(4) No history of scamming.
(5) No in and out. Fade and I have a list of all people who have been in <Enigmatic> and have quit. You get a one time pass to come back, then it's done. We don't take the in and out, we aren't a McDonalds drive through, we are looking for players who can commit and seek longevity in a guild.
Most of the people who want to join we should be saying YES to. However, if you meet the rare person you KNOW isn't a good fit then learn how to say no to them. The best way is with kindness. Here is an example: " Thank you for the run, but I see you aren't quite ready for our elite PvE farming guild. Please check back with us in a few weeks for another run." Then offer to help them in the future, and stay good to those words.
We dislike removing people from the guild and try to avoid, so again use your wise judgment before inviting.
I hope this helps and encourage all of you to continue recruiting by talking to your friends on your friend list, and responding to people who inquire to us. Don't go spamming towns or random people, we want to keep our guild small and tight-knit always.
