why not discard that glowing thing and just leave the whisps going up? make them moderate enough to be visible to players but not catch 100% of their attention. This is just a gem effect not a arcane or a mythic item effect..

I suggested that too. Depends if it affects the pvp team coloring or not, whether it's necessary.

It is a mythic gem, first of its kind and that's something really special and once some time passes they won't be as common as new players join the game. Plus you really had to work your bum off to get to plat so it should be drawing peoples attention; just not for negative reasons. I think they've toned it down enough. Just my personal opinion on it.
I'm happy to try it. From the look of it now it should no longer be causing physical concerns, which is all I care about tbh.

This is perfect now it seems more like a mythic gem PERFECTDialed the center glow back.
I love it. It's still in line with the original, but not an eyesore. I have chronic migraines and the bright light gets to me. Also al game controls are permanently burned into my phone screen. It's only a matter of time before this gem effect is burned there as well. Lol

Very cool. But still very bright sammy!! Point is the effect shouldn't hide other visual effects and pvp team colour identifier.
