Mythics: Lvl 41 Staff OR Elon Gun?

Which weapon is better for Elite PvE? Explain why.

Has anyone tried out the staff yet? How is it compared to the gun?

Gun -

More skill damage.
Better proc.
Ability to kite.

Gun is better, but for some people who prefer staffs.. Can't do much about that.

Tbh new mythic staff is crap. Elo gun gives 100hp, 50dmg, and loss only 30-40dps, 4% crit, some dodge and dex. IMO elo gun top, second kershal, third 41 staff.

Hmm, also note the mythic staff doesn't really hit multiple target unless charged, unless they changed the lvl41 version, which I highly doubt. All the staff are variable in this respect. Some hit three targets with their regular attack and some only one... So go ahead and throw out those notions of staffs being better for pve when it comes to this staff.

I like the 41 scythe. It crits often and is enjoyable to play with in elites. I do charge it to hit multiple targets on mobs, charge time is quick. It feels good to play and I can grind a quicker time with it over the kershal in tombs.

Gun all the way. I feel like I barely take any damage and I tear through everything. I don't even mind the no crit boost bc I have pets for that and I still am at 26 %
