Concerns Regarding the Eyes of Syrillax

Since the event has started the price of the eyes of syrillax have been dropping and earlier today they were as low as 480k. For me this was good news because i wanted to buy 5 for my twink and i was going to have just enough to buy that 5 after i bought 600 plat next week and sold ankhs/luck elixirs. Then when i get home today i see that the eyes have rose all the way up to 840k so i ask my guild if anybody knows what happened and apparently one person has decided to buy all of the eyes to drive up the price. Some of you may know who im talking about. This upsets me because players with more gold than they could ever need to take advantage of average players like myself just to make more money for themselves. Yes i realize this isnt against the rules of the game or anything and they should be motivated out of self interest but i just wanted to let those of you who are doing so are negatively impacting the game experience for others.

Change the title. Pretty offensive because just because someone is rich, doesn't mean you should hate them. Don't judge a whole group based on one's actions.

I don't think you should assume that someone decided to buy all those eyes especially since it's not even from an authoritative source. As for the selfish people, it's the same IRL. We're all selfish anyway, so I don't think it really matters that the price rose because "someone" bought it all. You saying this makes you sound selfish as well because you wanted the price to still be 480k. See where I'm getting at here?

Sure, I read what you said.

Furthermore, there was a buff post about 30 minutes before the start of this thread. Essentially there is no reason to complain - just chalk it up to a missed opportunity and hope that one comes by again. Better yet, you can take that 600 platinum, get to platinum tier and farm Syrillex for more eyes if you need.

Energize is right! Estates and buisnesses and losing and gaining worth here and there. I feel bad that my dad couldve got a house 400,000 but then 2 months later the house was raised to 700,000 :/

Don't worry, we are only one week into this 4 week event. As more and more eyes are looted, prices will drop below 500k for sure.

The gem gets buffed for 41 so more people want the gem now.
And looted eyes i just a laugh at that!!! i'm 2 chars plat tier +-250 runs already and always in a party with 4 players i only saw 1 EYE drop from a boss. zzzz

It's gonna get lower. 4 weeks is way longer than you think.

It's gonna get lower... because the demand is lower in that price, so the market will corrected themselves to meet the demand side...

This is nothing more than a risky form of hoarding. Give it time and the market will self-regulate itself.
