Drop rate has to be low. However, it has to be a constant. Not "happy hour" with lucky (or "lucky"?) players looting multiple recipes and then everyone else doing hundreds of runs without seeing a single drop. This is where the problem lies and this is why a lot of people complain.
If the luck of getting recipe is 1% I suppose there should be a factor that every 100 runs increases 4% of luck to get the recipe.
After one loots a recipe, the luck should go down to 1% again.

Why lock ? Just from npc its all !
When drop rate should be up ? Its annoying..
Well... After many, MANY runs... Finally
Congrat Bunkz, but I will be still thinking, that pendant amulet is only myth and fairytale until Ill drop it by myself.. About 150 runs and nothing.
i think sts need to revise who is working there *** off for one, instead of giving drops to those who run very few.
also if you looted one before it feels like the chance of getting another soon is way away which also isnt fair. i think u should watch who is doing many many runs and let it drop that way
Yes the drop rate is low, however thats th reason its a unique item..Increasing the drop rate = decreasing the value of recipe = more people are able to buy mythic pendant = More people use less ankhs and do faster runs in tombs = price of farming other items drops a bit Im beeing a bit extreme here but its true...The main point beeing that increasing the drop rate will make this item less special.
I think I was right around 300 runs before I looted if that means anything. I know of a couple people that looted very quickly and less than 10 people that have looted multiple but there def could be more people. I had only seen 1 drop before mine in all my runs and he is a very avid arena runner. I actually found some bizarre joy in comiserating with all of the people that ran with me and felt a little emptiness inside after I looted. I know that all sounds a bit sensitive but there are definitely some arena grinders that I ran with for weeks.
Simple solution to this problem would if this game wasn't so luck based, for example the recipe is only obtainable if you happen to get lucky there is no guarantee whatsoever no matter how many runs you do that you will ever loot one. To me this is absolutely ridiculous, the only thing in this game that's not luck based is planar fragments, there will never be any real hope for farmers or hard workers because this whole game is about luck. The mythic pendant recipe should be rewarded every 500 runs , this may sound like alot but I feel this item should still be rare in order to keep its value, if 500 runs or even 5000 runs guaranteed a recipe I may actually consider farming arena, however I do not wish to waste my time hoping to get lucky. The way this game is so based on luck is completely absurd, its the reason most of us spend thousands of dollars/pounds opening locks, because nothing is guaranteed in this game. Its not guaranteed no matter hoe much effort you put into farming arena you'll receive a recipe , its not guaranteed if you farm planar tombs every day that'll you obtain the best dark crystal armours from the chests you open.. Ive totally given up on any kind of farming because I just don't feel like wasting my time when im not even guaranteed a reward for my efforts. This is the reason why so many give up on this game, dont mean to be harsh but its very obvious, and implementing a change to make items in this game achievable by hard work and not just luck, could make this game more long lasting, rather then just a game that has a few years of profit then a failure. I don't get why nobody from the team is seeing this to be honest

Better change the arena rewards and add recipi to the lockeds
Imo, the recipe needs to be added into the loot table of the arena master chest.
Give us farmers another roll at the jackpot.
450 arena runs upwards, over 30 ankh kits burnt (on top of time commitment)
And have only looted nada thus far.
Yet, I've ran with a rogue who looted th recipe in her 2nd run
and another who got 3 recipes within the 1st week the new pendant was introduced in-game.
I can't deny ...
It gets awfully tiring and frustrating being one of the unluckier players :/
