Warning: Any Beggars Will Be Put On Ignore List
Good job sts. Each update you limit our options for non plat user to make gold... First you fix t2 scaling and now t3... And you give people elite loot in normal maps tindirin. Now all we can do is farm arena and hope you didnt secret nerf recipe or buy tons of plat and open locks.. Not everyone has money to spend on locks like zeus does. So much for giving non plat users "a chance" to get more gold.
Please review the adjusted grouping and distance between clusters of mobs in Wilds normal. I find it disrupts the flow of fighting. Did it really optimize bandwith? Because to me, problems like game pausing for milliseconds when someone enters map or dies and revives, is still happening on top of the recurring lag problems. Is this model going to be implemented on other maps as well?
Now breeze is more suck than Yowie :O
Breeze - 1.4M
Yowie - 180-200k
Hmm new pet?
Again only from Locks.
Next pro pet for Milions no for new-normal players.
Update - 5/10
Cool update, better hunt in arena then
The process is on ongoing optimization, in which this is a very small chunk. The gains will come as more of them come online, but our overall savings on that map iterations compared to the previous iteration is about 20% less bandwidth usage for all data transmitted. A notable improvement, but not an immediately noticeable one as there are many other maps still crushing the server bandwidth by comparison.
Over time as new maps come online with the changes the gains should be noticed overall, however it's going to be very much like the boiling a frog metaphor, wherein the bandwidth slowly improves over time to a point where you realize it's been awhile since you had any major issues. This is down the road quite a bit however, as there is no "silver bullet".
When you refer to challenge are you referring to Elite specifically?
It might help improve matters behind the scene but on map it's annoying to have these long stretches between mobs and fewer mobs per group. Previously, you can enter the fray and engage the next group as you finish off the first. With the current setup there are stretches where you use mana for piercer, or gale, or skysmash simply to move faster through map without the skills actually used to hit mobs. Inefficient and just plain boring. And I noticed Jagged Trail mobs have shorter leash too now. The mob grouping was fine before.
Point taken on performance. As for the above it's both although I should run elite a couple more times.
Without the big pulls the mob challenge just isn't there, you pick off 3-4 at a time and move on. There is no risk/reward with the potential of big pulls. If your not careful even normal pulls can kill depending on party makeup when you pull big. Honestly it felt like I could sleepwalk through these maps first time through. There was little to no challenge in terms of the mobs. Bosses are the same as far as I can tell.
I am capped but it feels like xp gain on this map is greatly diminished. This could be an issue for those trying to level.
Pls let myacc lot maridos XD
