What would you prefer to happen with the banner? Are you asking if we'll have a different banner each time we run The Gauntlet?

If its going to be a seasonal banner together with the rest of LB banner, its only right that you start with the current season of VI, the roman numeral "I" is a very very rare LB designation in AL so as II, we dont want to tarnish that legacy kept intact for 2-3 years.
Or you can remove the roman numeral designation and just add particle effects; effects as all other shiny things makes people happy.

Yes, as one of the few and possibly only player left in game with a banner from season one, I will be a little disappointed that there will be new banners with the Roman Numeral I on them. I am sure people with a season II banner will feel the same when the second gauntlet banner comes out. I also think the season number would be more appropriate, unless you plan on having more than one gauntlet event per season. Alternatively, just use a different symbol... say like one star for the first event, two for the second, etc...
Yup it totally looks like a S1 banner. That's why I said it will be coveted by many for sure. I like the idea of placing a star or symbol on it and then adding another one for future Gauntlet events.

This is interesting, and certainly not intentional. The idea was to commemorate that it is the first run of the Gauntlet Event (with more to come in the future). We'll keep an eye on this thread.

Mostly roman numeral on banners denotes the season it came from at least till now, well whatever the case since its a free event people will still try and get that banner no matter whats in it.
Thank you for considering a change. I know it does not seem like a big deal, and it will not affect 99.9% of players in the game, but I think it is perhaps an important detail. In fact it is not something I even really thought of until epicrrr brought it up. Unfortunately, it is small details like this that get overlooked, accumulate, and slowly add to the general discontent of some of the older players in the game.
I guess just keep the romantic number and get a higher number later on!

If they were to change the banner from the ORIGINAL design, don't you think the HUNDREDS of players who've been running to get THIS banner would be VERY upset that STS has once again changed something that they've stated what it is to us. (Ex. Bulwark, SNS, Nekro, and others).

It's still a change from the original design. Many people, myself included, were running for that sweet looking Roman numeral 1!

Its very sweet looking the fact that its in " I " and its 1 of 3 number where a single numeral is on them ( I, V, X) this is going to be the easiest way of getting a banner with a roman numeral on them, means its not simple a commemorative thing and that makes it highly a coveted banner.

I like the current design of the banner and would request Sts to keep it the way it is. The number is part of the design. The banner needs no change. Particles could be added to make it prettier though. It is season 1 of gauntlet so its fair enough to use that number. As it is a "commemorative"' banner, the number is apt to mark the beginning of the Gauntlet.
