Got this notification yesterday, going to assume that they meant for it to happen



Also in the platinum purchased section it says something like "Platinum Readjustment"

When you make a new account, you will now receive a total of 12 platinum if you reach level 5, that's 5 platinum more than before.

I think sts gave away 5 platinum to everyone to compensate for the platinum you lost by making your account prior to this change.

It's deffinitely not a bug.
