Ok so, the legendary armor need some legionnaire insignia essence (maybe 10) and one ingot, which seems a token item, like 200 run on new maps in normal mode. Mythic need some essences which is the vial (10-20?), 3 fragments,which are elite boss drops, and a very rare ancestral rune. i just hope this last one is not another recipe in arena..

If you check the first pic, Rovohn says 'armor and weapons' and he's holding a maul. I bet with shard we can make lvl46 arcane weps.

Will arcane ring be allowed to be included in this set bonus? If not, can it be allowed? After all, it is the ring of all rings and if there's a heft set bonus...it may not be. It would seem a bit meh to see the ring outdated after 1 expansion.

I hope so you need a mythical dragonite bar to craft it so why not?

For anyone worrying about AR, the "hefty bonus" is probably going to be something like +25 main stat. Now the mythic ring will obviously be at least 25 main stat back besides the armor difference and probably less of every other stat as well. And even if it's not, overall the arcane ring will most likely be better than the mythic one plus the set bonus.

I disagree with this speculation.
As a merchant if I had a arcane ring at this point I would sell it asap for the highest offer cause it looks clear, at least to me, the arcane ring won't be the best next season.
Maybe on its own the new mythic ring won't be able to beat the arcane ring but as a set with the other mythics it will for sure surpass the arcane ring.

I disagree with this speculation.

the point could be to narrow the gear gap for hard working farmers without throwing away all investments in the arcane ring.
maybe the new myth ring doesn t compete with stats, but with an interesting proc for special situations. there are a lot more possibilities and we all will speculate for weeks about this.

The point is probably has something to do with "cleansing stone, elondrian ward, nerco-nom-nomicon and orb of ursume" To prevent you from getting constantly stunned,slowed,frozen etc etc and/or probably boost you with crit/speed/armors etc etc. It's almost as if sts is releasing this expansion as a here to stay event. Just my two cents lol.

I would rather buy an arcane ring then rather than going through the stress of crafting & Gemming 4 gears.
