yea don't buy gold with plat. if you buy plat try your hand at locks, with the price of locks its impossible to lose money but you won't make as much "more than likely" as if you were buying ankhs.

I'd try marching. Learn prices and buy low sell high. Don't rush to sell anything be determined. I usually make at least 500k a day if I spend it marching which I normally don't because I'm lazy

To those who are thinking of marching, don't expect to make 500k a day unless you're buying and selling arcane eggs, which require you to have a fortune to begin with, or are selling items you hoarded for a long time. Try to make 50k a day merching as a supplement to your farming. That's far more realistic.

(I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but 500k in a day from merching is very rare for me.)

You're right haha I forgot, I've been merching in multiple games for years upon years so I've gotten kinda good at it
