Again, something that struck me during calculus class. Here goes.
"Virtual World"
In winter of 2014
I stumbled upon a game
Where as soon as I played it
My life has never been the same
I was able to recreate myself
In a way that the world didn't see
A chance to define who i am
And to be who I wanted to be
Along the way
I've met so many friends
Some of them active
Some decided to end
As I got along with these people
I got deeper into their heart
Where I've heard their stories
That shattered and tore me apart
I stay calm on the outside
But on the inside I cry
I'm emotionally affected
So I ask myself why
Then as I close my eyes
I begin to wonder
How I got closer to these people
Even though we've never met each other
And if you're one of those people
I want to say I'm honored to be a part of your life
I don't regret a single minute spent with you
Through the ups and downs of this virtual life
So as a piece of advice
While its not too late
Spend time with your friends
Because someday they'll go away
There's no time for drama
No time to cry
Cherish the moment
And don't let it die
I am very grateful
To have been a part of this virtual world
Where I took time to express myself
And let my story be heard
