Why damge done by legendary and mythic pet same?

I don't see a point on why there is a rarity of mythic and legendary pet. I guess there ispassive attack skill upgrade level difference . Anyways, I thought there should be more damage on mythic than legendary.

Post ss, i really think they dont do same damage. Check if comparing pets lvl are the same.

Mythic pet do more DMG than legend pet... Arcane pet do more than legend and mythic pet

I could not post ss because android browser won't let me access my ss folder.

I used to think same like you guys. I checked and made sure that mythic and legendary has same dmg value in every same level. Plz check it yourself and you will see same dmg and critical for every same level. There is no difference in legendary and mythic pet.

Legendary pets and mythic pets do the same base damage. The difference is in their abilities and AA. Overall, most mythic pets with the exception of Scorch have somewhat useful abilities! Arcane pets have slightly higher base damage than mythic/legendaries

Every pet has different AA and somewhat modified passive. I clearly understand it if the pets has same AA and other bonus then there is no point releasing other pet.

The question I am asking is why the base damage is same.

Also, I prefer nilbog, breeze and other legendary over scorch and lemon n lime. Lemon n lime is useless against nilbog bcoz it cancels LnL AA, othere pets AA. And I will use nightshade for more damage. Scorch and Lnl is a waste of plat. Scorch and LnL should be legendary rarity or epic as they are so powerless and useless against so many legendary pets.

Last but not the least, Even increment of 5/10/15... dmg will not make any big difference I know that. I am just curious why every other rarity has different dmg but legendary and myth has same.
