Where is... Everyone?

Fnord has been going between 30 and 40 people, and my list shows zero active games.
Alterrra shows over 300 people, and I see only 3 or 4 active games at a time.
Where in the world did everyone go? Before the 1.2 update there were pages and pages upon active games to join at any given time.

I'm hopin this is a bug and everyone didn't quit or something.

I agree.

There's nearly no games now.

Hope it's a bug.

Hey Ogediah, I've been constantly switching back and forth between servers. Last couple weeks, I can only find good games in Fnord late at night, so I play Alterra mostly during the day. I don't know what happened, but most of the oldschool Fnordics seem to have disappeared or jumped to Alterra. I'm hoping that will change. I have seen a few more people pop in since the 1.2 update.

Thanks Royce. There does seem to be a bug displaying games though. I just tried to join a couple games from my friend list, and although the master list shows no active games, I am getting a "room full" error.

If a game is full, it doesn't show in the master list.

But also make sure all your filter fields are clear. Filters are now persistent since the update. So if you type in "sw", for instance, to limit it to swamp games, that filter will stick untill you delete "sw" and refresh the list.

I know some ppl are using 1.1 client still, so that they can pve more easily. Last I checked, there were 120+ ppl on that client and 280+ on 1.2.

So that they can PvE more easily? How so? Also, how did you check that?

Tap to target in PvE is broken in 1.2. They are planning to fix next app update I believe.

Yes. Players are playing 1.1, as well as split between Fnord and Alterra. 1.1 will be shut down tomorrow, and we are planning a server merge next week.

Hmm not sure if I like that they don't show... Makes the game look like a ghost town.
I'm glad 1.1 is being shut down, hopefully this will help push more people over. Are we going to have a 1.21 update soon?the no tap to target is def very annoying for me.
When server are merged, will you be destroing fnord? Or will it become useful for something else?

It will be missed. All of my best PL memories take place there. Can't wait until the phoenix rises.

There seem to be some nice ppl on the forums and the sense of activity when you log in and interaction makes PL's such a seriously fun game on the iPhone. This consolidation of everyone's activity is a good development I reckon.
