Hello PL World

Hi everyone. Started playing last weekend, spent the last week lurking on these forums, and decided to sign up. Former WoW DPS, giving tanking a go on here for now (odds are good I'll end up an Avian in the long run). Thanks for putting all of the great info up here that you do, and look forward to running into everyone in-game!

-Pharcyde: Wish I could attribute that kind of pull to PL! In reality, I needed a game I could play in 10-15 minute spurts if that's all I had... I'm a big fan of the grind, and arbitrary goals, which PL seems to have in abundance. So it seems to be a game I can dump hours or minutes in, which fits my needs. I was a raider in WoW, and that required 2.5-6 hours a pop. Family requirements and work/study got to the point that I couldn't be a complete person and still play WoW.

Yeah I know how you feel WoW takes to much of your time. I stopped playing WoW 5 or 6 years ago back when BWL, Naxx and AQ40 where the hardest to beat. Former Tauren Shaman and had 2 rouges, a mage and a priest. PL is great you should check out all classes enchantress is a very good class especially to farm items for gold, tanks is the hardest class to play properly in PL and archers are just plain ol nukers.

Echelong - lvl 80 Troll BM Huntard, lvl 80 Orc Enh/Resto Shammy, lvl 89 Tauren DK. Loved that game, but it absorbs too much time.
