thr is alot of complains about the new mythic weapons bcuz of the short span of using it... and saying they wasted all their hard works/platinums/golds just to obtain this new mythics..

well, these are the list, pls read and try to understand their situation..pls try not to make a negative feedback for them..but try to help them.. "honestly, including me"

yet weapons released just in October are already going to get outdated.

I think that's a bit unreasonable...

I 've seen a thread about crafting those arcane weapons.

It's a suggestion that they should hear out:

As people say, we worked hard to obtain these 3 months old mythics.
So, in order to not think of it as a waste of time, you should make it upgradable.

For an example, Recipe that requires the bow, a shard and 60 planar essence.
The Recipe itself should be the hardest to obtain, it's the Arcane we're talking about.

It's very unreasonable, especially regarding the winter event weapons. In my opinion, releasing arcane stuff half a year into a season/cap is not the best idea in general. But at least there is some progress.

This should be addressed, as a customer I feel a bit jaded after spending so much on these weapons to have them out dated so quickly whilst things that SHOULD be out dated are not.

Let's see! I guess they hold info for us about upgrade glinstone to lvl 51 like they did with old mythic. Hope for yes so it will payback

If you're going to implement new arcane weapons, make them craft able. Not willing to experience a pay-to-win environment again

If STS adopted the "so what?" attitude, they'd be out of business faster than one of Trump's Casinos.

An MMO that evolves either too quickly or too slowly will shed most of its player base. What purpose does it serve to harshly scold fellow players who are feeling a strong pinch on their wallets and/or their time? Why casually dismiss the significant effort so many players poured into acquiring top weapons, armor and accessories? Many players are upset because they are expecting something to come around the corner too quickly. Instead of battling each other, let's attempt to find a good balance between too fast and too slow - something that works for everybody.

It's been 3 months since first 46 mythics release and 1 month for second wave. Many worked hard, spend a lot to obtain them. Even that is not enough because upgrading it to high end, costing 3-4 times more than the weapon. I spend 6m on fervor bow and additional 16 m to put para, eye in it because gems cant compete with them. Dont think of it as just gold, many people spending thousands of plat to obtain that amount of gold.
However, you announced new arcane weapons release and telling us what we have worked for months will be garbage soon. I feel like scammed right now As first i am forced to spend enermous amount of money into para gems whic was an event tier reward as well as eye gems and i wasnt active during those times when they were introduced.
Now telling me to all that work was in vain.
I cant even risk to sell it because we dont know the stats of upcoming weapon. Was it that necessary to release it so suddenly? Arent the mythics should last 2 season at least?
Is this the right way to get rid of hoarded para and eye gems? Well i can assure you there are still many hoarders out there which will be imposible to catch up on prices on next season. Isnt that riddiculus to spend plat to loot items to get gold, in order to purchase para gem someone got almost for free?

There are many ways to balance this, and lots of suggestion in forums such as 51+ gears cant be jeweled. that makes it a bit more fair but still doesnt change the fact of untimely arcane weapon release.

Producer's Letter jan 2016 said there will set of arcane weapons. Should we need any new weapon now? If these weapons for end game then i would say definitely NO. Ofc NO. There are various option each class has 8 options that is 24 kind of new weapons not much old to expire too fast, also we have options of level 41 weapons which is also not too bad. And if these new arcane weapons will not stand in front of these newly introduced mythic weapons that wouldn't effect much the pvp part. Rushing upgrade to better and better equipment might not be best for the game economy.

Also We didn't much enjoyed the new set of weapons. Atm 140+ mythic weapons in auction people keep selling their weapons just because there will be an arcane one.

Yeah ik there is no arcane weapon in game from long but it is not the right time, either it should be for low levels or it shouldn't be much op to beat the most liked pvp pve weapons maul fervor bow and gun.

I agree it is waaaaayyyyy toooo early I just bought my wisdom gun like 3 weeks ago. They should just release the Arcane weapons in like 8 months after expansion that way there is time to save up

its not good in my opinion that sts dont give us enough time to use a new mythic weapons "like those mythic maul" as we all know arcane weapons are coming....iknow u guyz are excited for new arcane weapons but we should make our money or plat "worth it"
its not worth it if we can only use this new mythics for short time, come on! we spend alot of plat to loot these items and we can only use it for a very short time..

Listen to einstein, he is a genius, and about weapons well, i think sts will say "sooo whaaat?" But a good thing is giving to the players what the players want, and the player wanna enjoy their weapons obtained with hard work, so... there is no reason to play and farm for gold to can buy a weapon that will be useless soon and then have to farm again ... bored ... leave game.

I can't find the exact comment right now , but remien stated that the old mythics will still remain one of the best in game and will server you well even after the relaese of new arcane weapons , so no need to worry

Yeah I literally sold everything I had because as soon as the expansions out the current gear will be worthless even though we spent so much time on them. Si I have no gear to play AL until the expansion is out, but I have faith that you will do something about this STS :P

I read this and appreciate the time you took to gather quotes on this topic. My opinion is that would be a bad idea to use mythics to craft to arcane because then you are removing them for potential other players to use. Less good gear for people in the game! I think the new set of arcane weapons is exciting and long over due. Will be great if they are crafted and something that everyone can get their hands on, as opposed to just being inside of massive locked. StS has certainly gone this direction, so you will have to wait and see how they are released.

Arcane weapons never put mythic weapons out of the game, people were viable and awesome using mythics! I would not worry so much that 'oh no my mythic is now a dud' and just be happy that there is more items and progression in this game!!!

Exciting for sure, can't wait to see how this unfolds in Arlor.

To the OP, I would really just hold off on making final criticism of this not being 'win win' until you have all of the details on how the new arcanes will come into the player base.

I would like to point out the fact that Moderators are reviewing the forums everyday. They are reading the most important threads and they are taking note of what people want.

Everybody has a different point of view. They do what they can do. When they can't, it's because they have very restricting reasons. They are taking count of the past experiences, and their expectations.

However, I do like the fact that you put all the ideas together in one same post. I think that people should do like you do. It's time consuming but it helps a lot.

I suggest you respect Candylicks opinion... that player played the game before... it's a high endgame player. We might not play the game actively, but our experience of the game and it's mechanics are still updated We know the players, we know their grind and we know how StS usually works. When you upgrade a piece of equipment, you can't sell it anymore... just think about the old mythic armors.

People often think about the Good point and their own interest but forget about the bad points of their own ideas. That's why we have such threads, so we cover all the pros and cons and we find solutions that can be taken by StS.

I respect your post I truly do. I work hard behind scenes in Enigmatic and read hundreds of posts and discussions from my guild on what is happening in the game, so I am not as out of the loop as it may seem. Hope that clarifies where I am coming from. And I will say I am pleased with many of the things sts has been doing such as arcane weapons, an arcane pet purchased with plat, and more incentive to run maps that I could see myself playing again casually with my friends. Thx!

For the players who worked so hard to get these new mythic weapons,
sometimes hard work is not enough

the good thing is, we can still use it tho.
as what remiem said, new mythic weaps will still be one of the best...

I really think we all need to calm down. Yes, arcane weapons were too soon after myth and yes a worthless pet with a worthless ring came along it, but it has always been our choice to be patience and not go nuts over buying everything that is new. Just like new Arcane Weapons, they will be off the chain as far as prices go. Many will buy at 50m if they cost that much... I will WAIT till they are minimum of 4m or 5m because price will eventually have to drop. It is our choice. Just like jewels price dropped. It will have to raise again so some players can buy arcane weapons and others can jewel up their new arcane weapons. If you really smart, you will find everything has a balance in there. Just need to learn how to coach it.
