27 best but thats my opinion
Seems like a lot of diversity at that level
How about for the gear, is it paw and evi, or just the full crystaline set
Most people do 27 mage since it's easier, but there's the occasional 25-26 mage as well. At 27 it lets you be a lot more flexible with your build. The best two weapons are fbow and paw. You can argue for toy but it's a lot less common and feels inconsistent compared to the other two. If you're going to play mage you'll have to decide which armor spec to use. Dex hallo which gives more hit, crit, and damage. Int hallo gives more dodge and armor. You could just use both if you want to be balanced but what's fun in that? In my opinion the int hallo set compliments paw better since it promotes a slower and more passive playstyle. On the other hand fbow and toy work well with dex hallo since you want to get as much damage out as possible. Evidence and shrunken head are both good shields and go along with the dex/Int hallo mantle and helm in respect to their stat differences.
I'm lowkey mediocre at this game
They are mostly 77, but 78 gives a slight advantage sir!
mages are mainly 37, more diversity for build, bears are 26, birds r extinct,
nothing lasts forever
27 is the most active level in the bracket, it provides more freedom with builds and is generally more fun ^_^
27 is soooooo much easier
from experience with <Just> and guild warring from L.15-27, it was a MUST to have a 27 mage. That's how broken mages were (and still are)
In my opinion, I prefer level 25 mage, instead of 27, because mostly all the mages who are bad 25/26 go 27 and just purely use fbows and think it's hard to be a 27 fb mage.
mainly on imbinger or mantine anymore
*Sigh* ^... Very stereotypical? I played 25 for much longer than I played 27 & I still prefer 27, not due to the fact that it was "easier" (you assume this because of your mindset that all 27s fight 25-26s?) but because it, as Xore said, is more versatile. As for saying 27 forg mage is/isnt hard, well who said you were the judge of that? Somebody could be amazing at it and find it easy, however on the other end of the scale somebody could be crap and tryhard constantly. Please dont place me or anyone else in brackets you wouldnt like to be in yourself unless you have clear proof we belong in there. Which I, for one, know I dont.

It's not due to the fact that bad mages go 27 because as Xore and Verti says, there is more versatility in 27. For instance; you cannot be an effective 25 pally as you do not have enough attribute points to have 35 str, 35 (at least) int and 67 dex for a ring.
I've played 25 just as long as I have played 27 and the overall experience of 27 is more pleasing. You can try different things and not have to dramatically suffer, just as I am using a 3 bom build and plan on going back to pally unless I find a 25 toy (which I think I finally have!!!)
I think he just had a little bit of a ragehead on XD I forgive you morph. Dun worry.

26 bear can compete vs. 25-27 mage.
