What is the benefit to disabling XP gain? Does anyone do it? What reason is there to not gain XP?
Just curious. Not sure what the feature is for.
Thanks,
Atlannie

for example i locket the XP of my bear at 51 to be able to farm lvl 51 items wich as level 55 bear would drop as lvl 55.
same with swamp items, i locked my twink mage at lvl 30 to be able to farm lvl 30 swamp items.
many locks XP for pvp events to make low-level combats.

Ahh I see. So if you are lvl 55, you will get lvl 55 drops? I didn't know that.
I understand the PVP thing.
Thanks.
if all of a party would be 52 we would still get lvl 51 from boss.. its a bit complicated but as 55 no for sure.

There are some places where the highest character level in the party determine the item level drops. The holiday event areas (Halloween and Christmas) did this (highest level player, rounded UP to the next multiple of 5), and Balefort Sewers do this as well (51, 53, and 55 items). There may be other select locations as well.
It didn't truly round up.
We didn't really know it at the time, but you had to clear more snowmen with higher level players. I had friends who were L12 and we'd always get L10 items. But there were some runs with L12s where we got L15s. In retrospect I'm pretty sure it's because we didn't kill 1 or 2 more snowmen.
