I present to you a wee Limerick.....
There was once an elite runner
From guilds he did hoppity-hop
Ended up looking like a bummer
When he wasted 500 plat at a vendors shop!
Thank you,

I was running out of gold,
The arcane fossil dropped, behold!
A story, I would never have foretold.
The excitement, my heart cannot take, I'm old,
I need to wrap myself in blankets, my bones, they feel the cold.
Oh and the darned thing, IT SOLD
P.S I think I'll run arena til expansion arrives \o/

I replaced SSS with Traps, dunno if good idea. I'm trying to plan ahead, thinking going support (light side). Maybe even add Veil. It all depends on how the new expansion unravels.
At level 46, my setup was pretty defensive and with experience as a tank, looks like I prolly end up light side. Especially if the gear is lootable within means

Personally, I prefer Traps. The bleed damage is really good, especially with stacked traps, and the net retraction is one of the best skill features around! Now that a handful of pets have a "pull" AA's, Rogues, all by themselves, can be masters of crowd control.
There's nothing like a large pull, a net retraction and a Sorc dropping a clock on the whole group....what a masterpiece!
In fact, if STS would consider adding/changing the Traps mastery to increase the chance of net retraction, I would happily give up some of my passives or other masteries for better mob roundup abilities.
To be honest, the only thing about Razor that I like is the stun immunity. From an offensive standpoint, it barely does any damage, and it is an aggro machine.

Last I knew traps were not stacking bleed like they should, has the devs fixed this? I have not tested trap stack since the start of this season.

Wait, so the multiple bleeds are from pet/weapons and NOT stacking from multiple traps. That's not cool.
As disappointed as I am, it doesn't change the usefulness of traps...in particular the pull. I just thought the bleed stack was from having 2/3/4 traps, I didn't realize it was from a second and third proc source (pet and weapon).

Pet bleed, plus trap bleed does work, but, two traps wont.
I love the traps, but with beetles in underhul, and (when running random) not many players understand the usefulness of neks aa , I switched to razor using sns w/ whims aa.

My reasoning was to prepare ahead. The impression I get regarding the new expansion is that it's going to be deadly the deeper you go. Traps are pretty awesome when they pull but I believe that surviving the onslaught using razors dodge and nullifying stun and snare effects is a far better option. Swift pulls and then also upon contact freezes a particular mob, there's also as you know Bros Whim and that dodo bird Fritters. You might get annihilated using Fritters in mausoleum elites tho, with its weak stats and small AoE.
Timing Nekro AA along with Razor could be a stun/snare free run, but I intend to use SnS AA in a PT mostly, with Nekro as backup.
As always I look forward to your knowledge and feedback guys
P.S I intend to join the light faction (defence/support) in the Arlorian Twilight expansion.

There is this update in March though.
http://www.spacetimestudios.com/show...e-March-2-2016
I can't verify it though because I have ditched trap for razor since Rengol and haven't taken it up back yet even after completing Glintstone set.
Only thing that "stacks" is some super small damage, practically insignificant. Traps were never fixed, sadly.
I agree that the damage from bleed isn't huge on it's own (per tick), but my attraction to traps is that the bleed effect impacts unlimited targets, unlike Nox, which has a cap on the maximum number of affected targets.
My original premise was that multiple traps, assuming of course stacking works as described, yields +/- 200 dmg per target per tick per trap. In densely populated maps, 200 dmg per tick per trap spread over 20+ mobs yields a tremendous amount of overall damage output. So, assuming stacking bleeds again, in conjunction with Nox DoT and Clock DoT the total damage output yield is impressive, when taken as a whole.
I will ask for some clarity on this issue....hopefully, we can find out more before the update.
