As many of you probably know by now, Seoratrek came on today and said something about a level 66 tournament,

Here's what you need to know:

-there's a possible prize of a vanity shield (most likely a pirate shield as we are approaching halloween)
-mention of a gold/plat prize
-No promises, if it doesn't work out don't be disappointed

This is all we know at this point, if I missed anything, correct me below or wait for the official post from a dev

Well, unless they resume support for the game by adding new caps I have a hard time believing that people would actually continue to play the game after they tourney is over.

So it would be a TDM style tourney instead of CTF? Either way I'm fine with it I just need to know how to prepare

So I took a look at the thread and it seems pretty inconvenient to have several 1 v 1 matches based off of most of the replies.

Also some of the rules are a bit disappointing, like not being able to change sets during the match. Unfortunately in PL, one type of set up always has an advantage over the other. Changing sets is just a tactic.

And then there's no one to judge if a fair match has been conducted. If a player happens to be the judge, there will most likely be some bias.

And on top of all that, there's the time difference.

I'm really looking forward to a pvp tournament but there are also a lot of problems that need to be solved to make a good one.
