    Default 2017-01-26 Content Update (222050)

    + Endgame INT sets contribute more Armor.
    + DEREX Talons look a lot cooler now.
    + Epic, Legendary and Elite Level 1 weapons can be found in the Store!
    + Select Level 1 Elite weapon items can be farmed in Forest Haven (and also via The Ref... but who'd ever want to do that?).
    + All looted items and gold now drop in the world and can be picked-up (or ignored).

    Oouch!! how these things have been ignored hehe, could not edit post in locked thread so enjoy it in mobile format -
    -- Class specific elites

    I think it's time elite should become CLASS SPECIFIC, it's not like I'm the first to suggest it, it has been suggested before [class specific gear]. Also class specific vanities do exist in pl, so I don't think it would be hard to implement.

    Some of the latest tweaks are implemented on items based on class [not on class skills, rather on items] but then other classes using it makes imbalance, IT WOULD BE REALLY COMPLEX to balance things keeping in mind hybrid classes too but if elites become class specific it can be rather easier to make things done.

    If it's done, it should be done to endgame elites, then we can have a trend that the elites are class specific [base attribution point requirement can be same as before] and even endgame pinks and other items can be left as it is.

    Regarding dodge cap :
    We should focus on squeezing dodge itself rather than a dodge cap, it has been done to stats but its time to do it to endgame items.

    Those items sitting on 6-10% each item, it was obsolute due to dodge cap, now the snake is out of its hole.

    -- Remove dodge from dex/int special elites or leave negligible dodge in it like 1%-2%

    -- Nerf dodge from str elites, let it be 4% in any str elite [4*4-16 + little bit in set bonus] with that bears have decent dodge buffs, can be even more, doesn't matter as I'm gonna propose 40% dodge cap.

    -- Global dodge cap 40-45%

    So now we have, Negligible dodge in int set, birds gonna have ~30 dodge due to dodge buff, and str gonna have 40-45 (global dodge cap 40-45% )

    The dodge variation must be there, and this will serve the purpose of class & build specific dodging rather than either everyone dodge same but low in case of low global dodge cap nor high dodge in case of high global dodge cap and for other explanations, one should read my threads that's the whole purpose, I didn't contradict ever by saying I don't like global dodge cap, there's a huge difference.

    Str sets have been buffed several times, I advocated for that, because along with everyone else their dodge was 20-25, so they were sitting on a disadvantage, that had to compensate but they're getting 20-25 dodge back so they should loose extra armor, I'll start with -50 overall

    -- STR 4 piece set armor should be nerfed by 50 [overall]

    -- INT 4 piece set armor should be buffed by 70 [overall]

    Would be good to start.

    Last but not least - Darax bow should be craftable from engineer with arzac blaster please, other derex/intex/strax are craftable but why not derex blaster, we spend 15m+ for this bow and some spend plat for this, this go for all 2h weapons.

    This barely changed anything for int mages. Why only buff 10 armor and take away 10 dmg
    If the dodge cap stays the same, mage is still useless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Do you have to kill the bosses on a level one character? or can any level charcter loot the items?

    Cool! Thanks. Where does the ref spawn? or not spawn and is hiding somewhere?
    Also, Cinco, I like the idea of the items showing up on the screen, but the sensitivity of walking over them is a little too sensitive. When you walk past an item, you still pick it up, even if you aren't directly. A bit annoying when you don't want it, but still ge tit. Could you make it so you have to get it by directly walking over it? Thanks!

    Perhaps it would be better to tell him how to help fix the issues. Instead of telling him what he did wrong without giving him anyway to fix it.

    Thanks for the update! Im still a little confused about what "The Ref" is. Unless its a reference to the plat store.
    Also is the only way to drop lvl one elite items, to BE lvl 1? Tried 2 30min 100% rerolls on a lvl 1 and 2 on a lvl 80 with no dice.
    Also, with the 100% reroll, items dropping well ahead of my character that i could still pick up were not being rerolled. Thanks again for the update and i look forward to lewting that sweet purple wand/scythe.

    I love this feature of DL. In fact, it's one of my favorite things about the game for as small of a detail it is. It works in DL because there's less AoE, less brightly colored maps, and simply less all-around happening on your screen to allow visibility for the drops. DL also has more of an emphasis on solo play, and isn't structured like PL is with the focus on team dynamic.

    After farming briefly on a few maps, it really just seems like a hassle. All the AoE skills and various colored maps often make drops difficult to see, especially since the aura above the item is always gold and matches elixirs. It also inhibits some team dynamics, since the team can't split up for efficiency or a bear can't advance to get a head start tanking without losing a drop. It confines everyone to a small circle if they want loot. Not to mention, farming somewhere like Psycho Shade seems much less enjoyable with this feature. I'd be in favor of reverting this back already quite honestly, but if not, at the very least I'd encourage that all pinks and elites will get auto-looted to ensure they don't go unnoticed, or to prevent a player from disconnecting and missing out. Also, I think gold should be removed from this, since really, who doesn't want free gold? It drops too frequently for me to have to look for it then walk over it to receive. It's a minuscule amount, but it helps new players out a ton.

    Not to sound unappreciative that is. The level 1 items have some pretty solid aesthetics, and I appreciate no longer confusing level 50s for 80s and vice-versa.

    Talon's still safe. I assume the wand was an accident and will be fixed. True though, forgot about that.

    Very ingenious addition of loots and gold being dropped, and have to be picked up to receive them. In the past so many bot for hours in plasma pyramid for pl gold.
