Elixirs trade-able?

Bazinga, I think its a great idea, it would work just like anything else that is bought with plat and the traded for gold, as for how much it would be well that also would be exactly like everything else, it would find its level based on supply and demand, in economics this is refered to price discovery. It works perfectly well everyday on the stock exchange. Ok that may not be the best example, dang those rogue Wall st traders.
A better example in the real world would be your local Trade and exchange magazine/website.

I'm not a farmer. As a PvPer, I absolutely would not spend platinum just to level up. But there are those people who buy platinum just for PvE. If they could utilise some of that platinum to make some gold directly, why not?

In my mind this is what the situation would be:
Initially few people buy elixirs because they want others to buy for them. Realising the demand for elixirs and the lack of supply, they start buying elixirs themselves to sell. Eventually it becomes a standard way to make gold in PL.

This is woudl not happen. People would buy loads of them and after 2 days the price would drop immediately.

If everyone began to buy elixirs, STS would make a lot of money lol. Can we not compare making elixirs trade-able to the trade-able plat bought items at end game? People bought them right? The problem with plat bought items is that there is always an increase in the number of such items. When it comes to elixirs, it is a one time use. They come and go. There will always be a deficiency. There will be a slight decrease in price from the first moment of the update to a later stage but that happens for every item. Eventually it will standardize and there will be a balanced inflow and usage of elixirs. Which in turn will encourage buying of more elixirs.

As I said in my thread, it has already worked in AL. And th reason is the periodic deficiency in elixirs because of its one-time usage as I stated above. I hope I've convinced you.

You're thinking short term as I see it. In the span of a week, the price of the elixirs would keep decreasing. In the span of maybe 2 weeks, the demand for elixirs would have increased again due to the shortage. It is a cycle.

It would depend on how much gold someone would pay for a 5star elixer I wouldn't purchase the elixir to sell if it was less then 1.5mill but others might. I'd definitely purchase elixir and sell it if it was worth that much in gold because I only have 1.1mill in gold but I'm able to buy platinum.

I'd definitely buy it, with 90$ I'd make 20 mill and that's a lot of money

i just dont think this would work. Ill stick to daily blessings. No ones gonna spend mils on 5x or 4x,let alone the others. And with the new blessings out... just wouldnt work
