Need Tips For Mage vs Mage Pvp.

I'm a level 55 dex/int elf, and I just can't seem to beat some mages. My combo is usually weakness > drain > lightning > frost bite > firestorm.

Do you think that is a good idea? A lot of times my mana is depleted before I get to finish off my combo. So I really need some advice, thanks.

Mana shield is a drug... It will kill you.

Their heal would cancel the frost bite... plus if you can hit them... they can hit you (mage v mage). Seems like you should do weakness, lightning, drain, frost/fire (combo) frost bite..

That way you have drains healing coming in mid way thru the fight.

Dex/Int mage are very good on 1 vs 1 fight , but you need too know who you fight with , a full int mage good on AoE /spell power and healing ,big mana pool and M/s , its not good for you in a long fight with them , But you got way more DPS then they do in 1 vs 1 , use a fast weapon a wand (ice wand ) + mage shield , start with ice bit , lightning （if they use heal to remove ice effect ,wait for you ice wand effect then use you fire to cambo ).

also as a dex/int mage your weapon dps are great then full int mage .you hit % are way high then them too , just like ret pally fight healer pally in WoW , always keep high DPS ,make them use mana shield and heal asap ,soon they mana will go low ,without mana full int mage just like fish out of the water
