How to get my location off

I cant get my winter location off a character because it doesn't have a tavern
Do I have to buy a tavern to remove?




Just don't want to buy one and have to re sell it

Unfortunately yes: you need tavern to unpack the location but I don't understand how you could add winterland if you did not have tavern before.
STS should have option to pack all if we got rid of house.

I did have tavern months ago and I sold it without taking off the winter
