Not really a complaint, I haven't been playing much lately. Just seems typical of business to be worried about "cost" and not how to make their company the best it can be. Money is important, but sometimes it's more than that ya know?
My Mage is getting restless lol
While we wait STS should make version 1.8 yes and could you include some nuclear technology in it from district 13 in those hunger game series yes I can finally blow up the balloon.
Devs,
The following update was just posted. Would PL be one of the small number of customers?
2:15 PM PDT*In our last post at 8:49am PDT, we said that we anticipated that the majority of volumes "will be recovered over the next 5 to 6 hours." These volumes were recovered by ~1:30pm PDT. We mentioned that a "smaller number of volumes will require a more time consuming process to recover, and we anticipate that those will take longer to recover." We're now starting to work on those. We're also now working to enable customers to be able to launch EBS backed instances and create, delete, attach and detach EBS volumes in the affected Availability Zone. Our current estimate is that this will take 3-4 hours until full access is restored. We will continue to keep everyone updated as we have additional information.
Reminder this is a joke so don't complain if this isn't real
POCKET LEGENDS IS BACK UP!!!!!!!!!
Imagine how STS could have said hypothetically "half the internet is down, but pocket legends is still up because we are l33t and kick butt!"
pocket legends should be up soon...
What's wrong with Pocket Legends? Nothing. What's wrong with Amazon? A lot.
Hello peeps
A) STS is not 'fing this thing up'. B) Complaining here will do you no good, go complain to Amazon....STS has done a good job of providing updates as they get them from Amazon C) Having backup plans is often very expensive and STS is a small company D) If you can't handle a couple of days with no PL due to something outside their control without saying wonderfully insightful things like "this is retarded", "this is stupid", and "who the he'll is running this thing", you need to get a grip on reality. Not to mention read the explanations of what is going on.

And I suppose you think that money trees grow in the STS lobby? Do you have any idea how expensive it is to set up a backup data center operation? It is enough that a small company like STS may not be able to afford it. Why would they? Amazon has been (until now) the best and biggest at what they do and very reliable.
STS' servers are fine. It is the Amazon servers that are jacked. Just chill and be patient.
